Advocacy

Advocacy

Developing and distributing evidence-based information and advocacy materials based on research, can contribute to the development of awareness of the potential and barriers for MUS. This data and information will have to be presented and made accessible in appropriate ways, to suit different audiences. The MUS group has generated a wealth of advocacy materials such as videos and presentations which are available on this website, including a pitchdeck titled 'The case for investing in MUS' which can be downloaded below. Also available is a briefing note compiled by the MUS Group that sets out the benefits and requirements of multiple use water services.

Guidance and tools

The objective of the guidelines is to provide guidance on planning, developing and providing multiple-use water services, based on the experiences of MUS group members. The guidelines are targeted towards people and organisations that already have an interest in MUS, and are interested in applying the MUS approach. The guidelines can be used for guiding planning and providing multiple-use services and can be used for the development of context specific guidelines for MUS.

More information is available in the section of the toolkit called evidence-based advocacy.
